NOKIA made a great comeback last year. HMD Global did a fine job in retaining NOKIA’s durability and that too coupled with near stock was job well done. Now, in 2K18, its time for them to regain some market share. The NOKIA 6 was the most durable smartphone of 2017. (As certified by Jerry Rig Everything, YouTube Channel). With a full-metal unibody and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection, the NOKIA 6 created new standards of Durability last year. The NOKIA 6(2018) is also expected to keep the pride of its predecessor.

Quite ahead of the launch of NOKIA 6(2018), the full specs and design has been leaked. As per the leaks, the NOKIA 6(2018) retains a metal unibody with 6000 series aluminum and it still doesn’t possess a 18:9 display (Bezel-less design). We don’t feel that’s a great drawback though. The best part is NOKIA 6(2018) is powered by a Snapdragon 630 SoC coupled with 4 gigs of RAM and backed by a 3000 mAh battery. To be honest Snapdragon 630 is an excellent mid-range chip and the predecessor to snapdragon 625. The storage variants are 32 GB or 64 GB. The battery capacity is a bit disappointing. The rear camera is 16 MP shooter and the front Is a 8 MP shooter. The phone will also retain all the essential sensors and is expected to run Nougat 7.1.1 which will be upgradeable to 8.0 Oreo anytime soon. The hardware buttons have been omitted and on-screen buttons will be presented. The NOKIA 6(2018) has borrowed some special features from its bigger brother, the NOKIA 8. The new NOKIA 6 features OZO Audio and the Bothie feature. The durability is expected to be the same as the previous NOKIA 6. The leaks show NOKIA 6 in matte black color with an orange accent.

The price is expected to be around 1499 yuan/ 239 $/ Rs. 14,500 (approx.) which is actually a great news. At this price range the NOKIA 6 would be excellent choice for everyone who are brand-conscious because not many established brands provide so much value at this price-range. Take Samsung as an example. Their On and J series are complete disasters at the sub 20000 segment. The LG Q6 is the only smartphone from LG in the sub 20000 segment which is also not great either. HTC is far more than a disaster at the similar price range. On this note, it be an excellent comeback for NOKIA if the launch their NOKIA 6 (2018) in the similar price-point.
