Are you still one of those who believe that great sounding earphone come expensive?? Well, it’s really time, you should change your notion regarding budget earphones. You might be wondering what is a good considerable option in the budget earphones market. Don’t worry! I’ve got you covered with a great in the mid-budget range of branded earphones. This is the review of none-other-than the JBL T210 which is available for about 1000 bucks.

Good quality earphones are never only about the sound quality but a whole lot of factors. One of them is the form-factor. The JBL earphones are crafted out of high quality ABS plastic and the cables are crafted out of high quality poly-carbonate material. Coming to the physical overview, we get to hold a classic looking earphone. Oh what a beauty in its own class! The tint of blue hard plastic for the black one or the tint of bronze hard plastic for the white ones on both the heads of the earphones show its real beauty. The orange shade in the ear-buds highlights the black earphones elegantly. The flat cable also adds up to the convenience and is a great choice by JBL to offer in this price range. The 3.5mm connecter is gold plated attached to a poly-carbonate neck angled at about 45 degrees which adds up to its durability. The build quality of the earphones is pretty solid and would easily last you for a couple of years if taken care of well. Nobody uses a pair of earphones more than that. We have different JBL branding logos on different heads of the earphones.

Talking about the box contents, we have the earphones first arranged quite perfectly in a plastic holder. Below the earphones, we have the extra ear-buds of large and small sizes. The medium ones are already fitted to the earphones. On the back of the plastic holder, we have the sweet-looking black pouch with JBL branding on it. On opening the pouch, we find the user manual and the warranty statement and other pamphlets. I would like to point out a con here. The pouch provided is of very good quality but the size of the same is so small that it couldn’t even hold its dedicated earphones properly. The few times I’ve used the pouch, I recovered a terribly tangled earphone. I have mentioned this because I’ve personally met some users who have chosen the T210 over the T110 just because of the pouch. Guys, if you are planning to do the same, I would say that it would be a terrible decision and you would regret the same. Rather you have far better pouches available on the e-commerce sites for about 250 bucks. Those will be really helpful to carry your earphones conveniently.

Now let us come to the most important part, the performance of the earphones. Very frankly, you need to equalize your device to squeeze the best juice out of the earphones. The earphones sound great even without equalization but the highs are too sharp. Equalizing will reduce sharp highs and decrease flat bass effect. The bass is extremely good but, as said, equalization is highly recommended. The vocals are clear too but sometimes the treble may sound kinky. The earbuds provide great isolation and the noise cancellation is quite impressive. The bass is heart thumping and the loudness is very impressive. Sound clarity is great and you can easily use it while playing multiplayer games. Details are easily audible. Mids. are good but flat. An important con I would like to mention here is that the earphones don’t flush flat with the outer part of the ears. This is significant because you can’t wear the earphones under a helmet of any sort and also you can’t sleep with the earphones on, thus creating considerable inconvenience.

Apart from all the inconveniences, JBL T210 is still a great option in the budget range for the earphones.
